Dr. Andreo A. Spina

Dr. Spina holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. He later graduated with summa cum laude and clinic honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic.  He then completed a two-year post-graduate fellowship in Sports Sciences. He is the creator of the Functional Range Release (FR)® soft tissue management system, the Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)® mobility development system, and the Kinstretch™ method of movement stretching that are currently used by practitioners world wide as well as a number of professional sports organizations, athletes, and performers. He is a published author, and international speaker on the topics of joint health, movement and mobility development, sports performance, and injury management.

Dr. Michael Chivers

Dr. Chivers holds an Honours Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University. He is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where he graduated Cum Laude and with clinical honours and a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences after finishing a two year post-graduate residency program. He has been an Assistant Professor at CMCC in the departments of Clinical Education and Orthopedics. He maintains a private practice and is also a highly sought for injury and performance consulting amongst athletes at the amateur, provincial, national and professional level. He has also written numerous articles and has published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.

Dewey Nielsen

Dewey Nielsen takes an evolutionary approach to movement and fitness, optimizing human performance and combating the negative effects placed on our physical health by the modernized world. As a human movement specialist, mobility coach, and instructor for the Functional Range Condition system, he works with all types: from elite athletes to the general population to stroke victims. Dewey holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is an avid outdoorsman and adventurist.

Dr. John Saratsiotis

Dr. Saratsiotis started his postgraduate studies at McMaster University (Canada) and completed an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Gerontology.  Following, Dr. Saratsiotis graduated in 2003 from New York Chiropractic College (USA) with Summa Cum Laude honours and was awarded a number of scholarships throughout his studies.  Dr. Saratsiotis has contributed as an author in various textbooks (including “Fascia: Clinical Applications for Health and Human Performance”) and has published articles in scientific peer reviewed journals.   In 2007, Dr. Saratsiotis moved his practice to Athens, Greece.  Since then, he has also received a degree in Physiotherapy from the Physiotherapy Department of TEI Athens.  In addition to his private practice, he has also presented at international symposia.

Michael Ranfone

Michael Ranfone

Michael is the founder and president of Ranfone Training Systems located in Hamden, Connecticut. For the past decade he’s dedicated himself to improving athletes as a performance coach and manual therapist.

Mike graduated Cum Laude from Union College with degrees in Economics and Psychology—earning recognition in the National Honor Society of each discipline. While at Union, Mike excelled on the football field—he was a four-year letter winner, three-year all-league and all-league academic starter. He served as a captain during his senior campaign. His football career culminated in several tryouts for Arena and Canadian Football League teams.

He started his professional career at Yale—serving as the Strength and Conditioning coordinator for more than 500 Division I athletes. In 2005 he returned to school and incorporated Ranfone Training Systems. Since then, he’s coached and treated thousands of athletes—while also consulting with professional and collegiate sports teams.

Mike’s given performance enhancement lectures at private venues and universities across the United States—focusing on strength and movement improvement. He’s a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Licensed Massage Therapist in Connecticut, a Level 2 Functional Movement Specialist, in addition to being a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist/Instructor and Functional Range Release Practitioner.

Dr. Scott D. Howitt

Dr. Howitt holds an Honors Baccalaureate degree in Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and completed a two-year post-graduate residency in Sports Sciences, a three-year post-graduate program in Rehabilitative Sciences, and a two-year course in acupuncture. Dr. Howitt was a member of the core medical team for the recent Canadian Pan Am team, and works with various amateur and professional sports including rugby, soccer, bobsled/skeleton and triathlon. He has created content for sports medicine courseware, has published numerous research papers, and is a lecturer for undergraduate and post-graduate sports medicine, rehabilitation, nutrition and fitness.

Dana John Heimbecker

Dana John Heimbecker

Dana has been involved in the study of human movement throughout his life. He was exposed to Martial Arts at a young age, which later lead to a NCAA Division 1 soccer scholarship at Marshall University where he obtained a B. A. in Sports Management. Following Marshall University, Dana’s soccer career continued in Europe where he pursued a professional soccer career in Belgium and Germany. Playing at a professional level gave him an invaluable experience that later translated to a career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Dana is a Functional Range Conditioning Instructor and heavily involved in the Functional Range Conditioning curriculum created by Dr. Andreo Spina. As a FRC Instructor and Kinstretch Master Instructor, Dana travels the world educating professional sport organizations, trainers and therapist on the Functional Range Systems.

Dana’s involvement in this system has refined his training approach immensely as he provides a foundational and disciplined approach to all his students. His database of knowledge is continuously growing in all areas of health and wellness which adds to his distinctiveness as an educator to his students and fellow trainers.

Dana also currently works as a Strength & Conditioning Coach and Rehab Coordinator at Move Lab – FRS Headquarters in Toronto, Ontario.

Dr. Benjamin Bluestein

Dr. Benjamin Bluestein was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Benjamin achieved an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2011.

While living in Toronto, Benjamin worked with CBI Health, Canada’s largest private healthcare group. In 2014, he moved his practice to Hong Kong. He is the Team Chiropractor for Joint Dynamics, a leading multidisciplinary clinical and fitness facility located in Central. His clients include athletes at all levels as well as the general public. 

He acts as a Corporate health consultant for multinational companies such as JP Morgan and CBRE. He has also been a featured lecturer at 4Stripes BJJ Camps (feat. Andre Galvao, Felipe Pena etc.). 

Benjamin is a sports enthusiast with a BJJ purple belt from ATOS. He also enjoys playing amateur basketball and strength training.

He utilizes the Functional Range Systems (FRA, FR, FRC) and other movement modalities to help assist in clients’ joint health, post-injury rehabilitation and athletic goals.

Hunter Cook

Hunter has been personal training for the last 8 years, and has also worked as a physical therapy aide for 6 years in both New York and California. Hunter is well qualified as a fitness professional to work with any demographic of clientele, however, excels in nutritional guidance, mobility and flexibility, and post-rehabilitation clients due to his background working in physical therapy offices. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with the option in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach. Hunter’s certifications include the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)

John Quint

John Quint is a Neuromuscular Therapist. He holds degrees in Exercise Science from Otterbein University and Neuromuscular Therapy from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine. John maintains a private practice in Columbus Ohio.

John works in conjunction with Westside Barbell where he is a part of the seminar staff, podcast, authored topics on injury mitigation, rehabilitation and applies Functional Range Systems treatment and training principles to the members and athletes of the private facility. John also works with athletes from the NFL, NHL, PGA, UFC and IFBB. He has trained and competed extensively in bodybuilding.

Bryan Marugg

Bryan is a movement and mobility specialist, as well as licensed massage therapist in the State of Oregon.  As owner of Adapt Bodywork, Bryan utilizes methods from both FR and FRC to help aid in client recovery and optimization for their wellness goals.  He has the unique ability to view and work with individuals using multiple lenses, that of a therapist and coach.

Bryan is the head coach at Impact Jiu Jitsu Newberg for both youth and adults programs.  He has trained extensively in BJJ and competed and medaled in many prestigious international Jiu Jitsu tournaments.

Bryan has over a decade of experience coaching a variety of individuals with specific goals and needs, ranging from ages 4 to 90.  He believes training and treating individuals is an art and his responsibility lies in refining essential skills daily, to help clients improve.

Dr. Moses Bernard

Dr. Bernard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon, Canada where he graduated with great distinction. He also holds a cum laude Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.

He has since expanded his education to include numerous post-graduate certifications in neuromuscular rehabilitation & sports performance enhancement. His post-graduate studies have ranged in fields as diverse as yoga therapy, infant neuro-motor development and Olympic weightlifting. Dr. Bernard has taught seminars throughout the United States, has had multiple articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has presented findings from clinical studies at international research conventions.

In addition, Dr. Bernard recently served as the Postural Specialist & High Performance Liaison for MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays. In this position, Dr. Bernard was the only Chiropractic Physician to travel with a professional baseball franchise in 2016.

His treatment approach focuses on identifying, evaluating and correcting movement imbalances to eliminate pain, prevent joint degeneration, and maximize performance. Dr. Bernard’s approach covers the spectrum from acute rehab to high-level performance, and works regardless of whether you are injured, healthy, new to activity, or a world-class athlete.

Kristina Marie Heimbecker

Kristina attended Brock University to obtain her Undergraduate Degree in Speech and Language Sciences followed by a post graduate certificate in Autism and behaviour sciences at Mohawk College. Kristina completed her 200-Hour Yoga teacher training through Yandara Yoga Institute in Baha, Mexico in 2013 which sparked the desire to continue her education from many other sources around the globe. To continue her education, she completed her Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) Certification and Kinstretch certification shortly after. She has made incredible leaps in her movement abilities in such a short time and through practicing the system on herself, she can now transfer that experience in her teachings and guide students to reach their own mobility goals. Kristina is well known in the movements community as Functional Range Systems Social Media Manager and assists around the globe at FRC and Kinstretch certification seminars.

Kristina currently works alongside her husband Dana Heimbecker, where they design training programs, which include strength, mobility and recovery to youth athletes and general population seeking a healthier and well-balanced movement practice.

Beth Lewis

Beth Lewis holds a BFA in Dance Performance from The University of Georgia. In addition to dance, her movement background includes gymnastics, martial arts, swimming, soccer and aerial arts. Her first career was as a professional dancer with Pilobolus. She had the incredible opportunity to perform all over the world with the acrobatic and super creative company. After coming off of the road, Beth decided to make New York City her home and to really dive into a fitness career she had dabbled in 8 years prior. Her personal infatuation with movement morphed into a passion for educating others how to move their bodies. She is currently a Strength Coach and the Education Coordinator at Soho Strength Lab, working with clients from all different walks of life including prehab/rehab, youth athletes, strength and conditioning and geriatrics. She is also the Assistant Program/Education Director at Cityrow. Beth strives to give her clients the tools to walk through life efficiently and effectively with the upmost confidence in their bodies.

Beth is an FRCms, Kinstretch, FRAs, StrongFirst L1, CFSC, PRI- Pelvis, DNS (course A), EXOS 1-3 (Performance Mentorship) and EXOS Performance Therapy Mentorship.

Josh Halbert

Josh has been a lifelong martial arts and combative sports athlete. His athletic pursuits have included tai jitsu, Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, and wrestling. In addition, he played multiple field sports and competed in powerlifting in his youth. He got a B.A. in Human Performance and Recreation and finished his last semester in college going through an internship at Athletes’ Performance, now known as EXOS.  Currently he works on expanding his movement practice through gymnastic strength training, mobility and outdoor adventures.

Josh looks at human health as a complex and dynamic system. This system is comprised of different interdependent parts including lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, physical training, mindset, and recovery. Proper management of these parts facilitates one to achieve their full human potential. He continues to grow his knowledge as a coach in all these subjects so that he can better serve the people he trains. He works with a diverse group of clients from the general population including children, the elderly, military personnel, and athletes from high school to the professional level.”

James Chung

James holds a baccalaureate degree in Psychology from St. Francis College (Brooklyn). While completing his studies in Psychology, James competed in Division I tennis and began his career as an Olympic Weightlifter. His initial success in local competitions led him to eventually making his national debut at the “2016 University/U25 National Championships” in New Orleans. Coupled with his athletic background, James is also a 6th-degree black belt in Taekwon-Do and International Instructor under the “All International Taekwon-Do Federation” (A.I.T.F.). He has traveled internationally and led seminar demonstrations in various cities in Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal, and Italy.

James currently works as a rehabilitation specialist and Kinstretch instructor in NYC where he uses his diverse background to fulfil his purpose of restoring self-confidence and ownership in others through movement.

Zach Deckelbaum

Zach’s deep curiosity for movement fuels his passion for coaching. Zach attended the University of Delaware where he graduated with his Bachelors in Exercise Science. After graduating, Zach became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA before beginning his personal training career in NYC. After attending FRC he was among the first Kinstretch instructors teaching in Manhattan. Zach also founded MoveHow, a platform dedicated to helping individuals from around the world improve their mobility.

Joseph Gambino

Joe is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who works out of Perfect Stride Physical Therapy in New York City. He believes that optimal mobility and strength can help people live a healthy and active lifestyle while being pain free.  Joe has a combined decade of experience in the fitness and rehabilitation fields and uses an eclectic approach that begins with giving his clients the skills needed to keep their body functioning at its highest level.
