INFORMED PROGRAMMING

FRA is a measurement based assessment system that provides objective measures of an athletes movement capacity for each and every articulation. Then training inputs (FRC®) are able to be directed at the individual’s specific deficits.

Precise, scientific,
baseline
measurements.

work out of your
programming.

Perfect for assessing before/after progress that you can share with your clients.

BECOME AN FRA® PROVIDER

Now a 2-Day seminar, FRA® is open to those who have successfully completed either the Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) and/or one of the Functional Range Release (FR®) certification seminars.

Functional Range Assessment (FRA®) will build on the systematic concepts of the FR® and FRC® systems, this time focusing on how to quantify a client’s basic movement capacity. In doing so, it will allow you to better prioritize your management decisions as it provides you with a better understanding of the patient/clients’ needs and where they fit within the spectrum of the Functional Anatomy Systems.

Upon successful completion of an FRA® seminar and an online exam, the participant will receive the FRA® Specialist (FRAs) designation offered by Functional Anatomy Seminars. This certification will allow participants to announce themselves as certified FRA® Specialists for the purposes of advertising. They will also be included on our website, in our ‘Find-A-Provider’ network and will have access to ongoing, free continuing education.

The seminar covers a variety of concepts including (but not limited to):

  • FRA® measurement procedures
  • Advanced Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) assessment and interpretation
  • Removing confirmation biases during assessment
  • Neurophysiology as it applies to the Functional Anatomy Systems
  • Dynamic Systems Theory as it relates to movement creation and interpretation
  • Advanced FRC® programming
  • Advanced clinical assessment and interpretation

FRA® Online Format

Our online seminar includes two 5-hour days live with our Master Instructors. To get the most out of your experience, it is recommended you have a partner to practice the FRA® procedures. Day 1 includes live multi-media lectures and practical application of the linear assessment portion of the FRA®. Day 2 includes live multi-media lectures, practical application of the rotational assessment portion of the FRA®, how to interpret findings, FRS® programming and clinical decision making. At the end of the seminar, attendees will feel competent in performing the Functional Range Assessment®, interpreting findings and making clinical and coaching decisions based on FRS® principles. Throughout the seminar, you can interact live with the Master Instructors to ensure you understand the content and procedures, just like our live seminars. Participants will also have unlimited access to extra course material to continue learning and hone their FRA® skills well after completion of the seminar.

Although we will not physically be in the room together, please know that the level of education we will be providing, the supporting materials and the live-support you will receive will make for an equally impressive experience from the comfort of your own home or facility.
