Functional Anatomy Seminars' instructors are hand picked based on their knowledge of anatomic structure, functional anatomy, and manual skill. They are at the forefront of the current research regarding health care, injury management, and performance training. Many of them are active researchers in the fields of manual medicine and physical conditioning, as well as instructors, and/or lecturers at their respective educational institutions. In addition, each Functional Range Release® instructor is also a Functional Anatomic Palpation Systems™ certified instructor. Dr. Spina holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. He later graduated with summa cum laude and clinic honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic and subsequently completed the two-year post-graduate fellowship in sports sciences. Being the recipient of the 'John W.A. Duckworth Award' for the highest standing in Human Anatomy and Histology, Dr. Spina became the first pre-graduate student to tutor in the cadaver laboratory in the Dept. of Human Anatomy at the Chiropractic College, a position he continued throughout his post graduate fellowship program.In addition to being both the creator and head instructor of Functional Anatomic Palpation Systems (F.A.P.™), Functional Range Release (F.R.®) Techniques, and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)™, Dr. Spina has also authored chapters in various sports medicine textbooks, is a published researcher, and internationally renowned speaker on the topics of manual therapy, soft tissue assessment and treatment, mobility/flexibility training, and physical conditioning.

Dr. Chivers holds a Honours Bachelor of Physical Education from Brock University. Upon graduation he entered the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated with cum laude and clinical honours. He has just recently completed a two year post graduate fellowship program in Chiropractic Sports Sciences. Dr. Chivers has traveled throughout Canada as the team doctor for a variety of elite amateur and professional soccer clubs.
Michael has also worked with national and provincial martial artists, elite triathletes and golfers. As the team doctor for Team Ontario Baseball, he has a special interest in working with and developing elite amateur pitchers in helping them get to the next level. Dr. Chivers also has published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.

Dr. MacIntyre holds a Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University. He later graduated with clinical honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto as a Doctor of Chiropractic and completed a two-year post-graduate fellowship in sports sciences. Dr. MacIntyre has worked with provincial and national level martial artists, professional and amateur golfers, triathletes, marathoners, cyclists, soccer, football, and hockey players.
Ian has a special interest in performance consultations for both the elite and amateur golfer.

Dr. Saratsiotis graduated in 2003 from New York Chiropractic College with summa cum Laude honours. He is also a certified medical acupuncturist (Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, McMaster University.) Dr. Saratsiotis has contributed as an author in medical textbooks and has published numerous scientific articles. In 2007, Dr. Saratsiotis moved his practice to Greece and has since also received a degree from the Physiotherapy School in Athens, Greece.
Currently, in addition to private practice, he also teaches courses in orthopaedics, rheumatology, and soft tissue techniques at a private Physiotherapy School in Athens, Greece.

Dr. Thistle graduated (magna cum laude) from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Shawn holds an Honours Degree (summa cum laude) in Kinesiology and a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Shawn is also certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association NSCA-USA. Shawn is the founder and president of Research Review Service Inc., designed to assist busy practitioners to integrate current, relevant evidence from chiropractic and physiotherapy research, into their practice.
Shawn is also founder of The Epicurean Scholar, a division of RRS which provides 'upscale' continuing education seminars for chiropractors and physiotherapists.
Shawn writes for a number of print and online publications and is a lecturer in the Dept. of Orthopedics at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto.

Massimiliano graduated with magna cum laude honors in Exercise Science from the University of Tor Vergata Rome, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University Fernando Pessoa Oporto Portugal, and a Masters in Kinesiology from the University of Chieti Italy. He has also received his Diploma in Osteopathy, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
In addition to clinical practice, Massimiliano also serves as the educational director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association of Italy; a Master Coach, educational director, and PT/Osteopath consultant for the European and Italian Weightlifting federation; and as a member of the Scientific committee of the Italian Weightlifting Federation. He is also an instructor at the University of Chieti (Physiotherapy department), University of Pavia (Exercise Science Faculty), and University Fernando Pessoa Oporto.

Stefano Spaccapanico Proietti graduated in Physiotherapy and Sport Massage Therapy from the Physioterapy-Massage Therapy School of Perugia, Italy. He later completed his certification in Osteopathic Medicine at the French School of Osteopathic Higher Education.
Stefano is a member of the technical and scientific committee of the Italian Sport Massage Therapist Association has experience in treating several athletes in the Italian National Sport Federations. He specializes in the treatment of shoulder pathologies.
Since 2006 he has taught several courses in Manual Therapy and Massage Therapy for a private Physiotherapy School in Perugia, Italy, as well as for the Italian Sport Massage Therapist Association. He has lectured throughout Europe on the topics of manual therapy and rehabilitation.
